read: ‘keep this bag away from children’ b/c your alt lit heroes are in it
seems stronger than most journals b/c of ‘this’
read: “type of lies” by andrew james weatherhead b/c there are many different types of lies, all of them enjoyable, some of them possibly true
read: “points of no return” by frank hinton, pretty sure there’s something about a fire
read: “when will i next own a microwave” by crispin best b/c there’s no interpreting this ex-girlfriend or interpreting the next sentence that crispin will write, idk some of it didn’t make ‘sense’ yeah but still read it
read: “my mother on race” by noah cicero b/c this is completely manic and crazy and has had to happen b/c it seems that everything noah writes is somewhat true, this is all politically funny i’m afraid there’s not enough alt lit ppl becoming smart like noah
read: “independence night” by david fishkind
read: “the party never ends if you kill yourself at the party pt.6” by jordan castro b/c it’s better than the other jordan castro one and jordan’s style is definitely changing, keep up with him
read: “thanksgiving II” by elvia wilk b/c this is a true mess, a true true mess, everything is body crevice gross
read: “soft rock hits the seventies” by megan lent b/c this is truly stellar those old exes walking around, and it’s all odd, love this megan lent piece will keep reading megan lent, she’s probably a lot easier to talk to online, yeah i agree, HHHHHHHHHHH, one glorious text msg virginia woolf HHHHHHHHH amazing.
read: “the table of contents” b/c it’s mad confusing if you don’t put the author’s name with the piece, literally & completely confused, seemed to ‘disrupt’ me on occasion, frantically searching for ‘person’s name’ perhaps should have just ‘credited’ it to the general ‘sense’ of alt lit i was getting from these pieces, like there is just an alt lit cloud and we’re all just interpreting it, not sure what this cloud would be ‘shaped’ as, maybe it would be shaped like a gchat, cloud computing yes—-
read: seems like i will ‘support’ this journal in the future, like it is going well, seems like ‘high quality’ ppl are
here.
