‘How’s your poetry life?’ I think 

Poetry is a distraction 

I’m in love with poetry. Oh god.  

My alarm just went off 

I woke up before my alarm and started writing this 

I don’t want to impress anyone 

I don’t want to affect anything 

I get satisfaction from standing near water falls 

and writing long emails 

and walking home late at night 

singing rap songs into oblivion 

really ‘confused’ about writing now

not sure what the ‘point’ is

seems like it was a way to get out

of the

‘depression circle’

but lk brings all the ‘circular’ thinking down on it

seems that being in love with letters

is ‘shameful’ or something

in this ‘modern’ world, yeah

but here’s lk

chasing after water falls

and singing her own rap songs

and writing her own emails

and making her own screenshot collages

if she doesn’t want to ‘impress’ or ‘affect’

don’t send your stuff to alt-lit-anon sites

b/c really, idk

what’s the ‘point’

?

to like ‘impress’ some ppl 

saying ‘they’re not alt lit’ anyway

is saying ‘i want to write love poems’ 

the same as writing one

is the ‘point’ of love understood

i won’t write this ‘review’

but just say i ‘did’

felt ‘sad’ about this depression circle

feel ‘sad’ about ‘this piece should be read with an optimistic state of mind’

ie ‘nobody cares’

b/c like why am i writing this review or something

seems like nobody will care, yeah

not even lk shaw somebody

and then i’ll down this ‘screen shot’

i had so many ‘screen shots’ last nite

that i threw up this post mod poetry book

using time

making time

see the ‘liquor store bag’ poem

seems mildly depressing

to write poems on a liquor store bag

go to duane reader or something

get a pencil

seems like i’m confused, i like this, like the beginning and that seagull stuff and that pink post it note but i feel like lk doesn’t want me to like it, just so she has ‘something’ to add to that ‘nobody cares’ list, like something else that ‘doesnt get it’ really concerned about that list, will try to wittily dismiss it in 140 characterz, will try not to dream about this like that one time with jordan castro
